Films d'Art was set up in Karachi by Mushtaq Gazdar in 1967.
We have to our credit more than a hundred documentaries, dramas, commercials and news reels on wide ranging issues: development, human rights, education, women's rights, health, workers' rights, political documentaries, culture and heritage as well as corporate films.
Our films have screened at international film festivals and on Pakistani and international television channels. Besides its home productions, Films d'Art has produced documentaries for government, non governmental organizations and corporations.
With our initial expertise in 35mm and 16mm films, we now have digital professional cameras and editing facilities. Films d'Art has produced films in collaboration with organizations including State Life, the World Bank, AED, UNICEF, PAWLA, Ministry of Women Development, National Rural Support Programme, Ministry of Education, CIDA, Japan Foundation, Ida Rieu, OMV Pakistan, FWBL, Sungi Development Foundation.
Films d'Art has a core team of professionals with at least 10 years of experience in media production.
